Dance, dance, dance, dance, dance to the radio

Happy pre-Thanksgiving, punk and punkish people, and welcome to the latest episode of Wednesdays With Andrew! Hope you're all gearing up for some sloppy, awkward bar meet ups on Wednesday night followed by a lazy, food-filled, drunk uncle-attended feast. Speaking of....Millions of Dead Turkeys would be a GREAT name for a punk band.

This week I drink some beer from local production brewpub, Mad Fox, ruminate on minimalist lifestyles, do a poop-only MadLibs, and listen to some dope tunes from bands like Belvedere, The Stooges, Fu Manchu, The Specials, Mustard Plug and more. So go ahead, LISTEN NOW:

Liner notes:

For all of you haters who are not paying close enough attention to my episodes, go check out Belvedere's last studio album, Revenge of the 5th, here.

For all the curious minds out there, this is the full He-Man/Skeletor Dirty Dancing commercial:

Oh and here is the mental tour schedule that the lads in Fontaines D.C. are crazy enough to attempt...it would be almost impossible for them NOT to play a spot near you on this behemoth trip, so go watch 'em live! DC folks - they're hitting up Rock & Roll Hotel in May.

Oh here's a poop-only, Thanksgiving-themed MadLibs I made to share at work:

Annnnnnd this next link is especially awesome...check out Fu Manchu before they were Fu Manchu, when they were a west coast 80s hardcore band called Virulence.

Alright that's about it for the week. Never forget..that Iggy Pop was the neighbor dad in Nickelodeon's Pete & Pete
